Language 

 Every civilization had an oral language. Unfortunately some only have oral and no written form of communication. It is important to archaeologists that there is a written form of language so that they can understand their way of life. Here is some cool information:

Persian:

  1. The Persians spoke Old Persian.
  2. This language was introduced in 1000 B.C. and was spoken until 300 B.C.
  3. They discovered cuneiform system of writing.
  4. Most Persians wrote in Aramaic script.
  5. One of the most famous text is the one of King Daruis's life.
  6. Persian belongs to a Indo-European family.
  7. Persian is the most important Islamic language after Arabic.

Roman:

  1. Most of the Roman language of Latin came from Greek.
  2. Many words in English have a Latin route.
  3. Romans only used capital or uppercase letters.
  4. The Romans only used straight lines, curves, and angles until later in history.
  5. Lowercase was introduced at the beginning of the Fifth and Sixth Centuries.
  6. There was no "J" in ancient Latin and "U" was written "V" and pronounced "W".
  7. They used "I" where we would put a "J" and they pronounced a "yuh" sound in these places.
